SOUL SHAKE

Drop your mind, find your feet and free your spirit at this DJ dance wave to a range of musical styles. No previous dance experience necessary. There are no guided moves, routines or instructors. You are free to be you, moving as you desire, feeling your feelings. The music has an intention and builds like a wave and then ends on a meditative note. There is no speaking during soul shake except for a beginning sharing of intention and a sharing circle at the end. Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear appropriate for your level of activity.

 

ZUMBA

Zumba is a fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval training — alternating fast and slow rhythms — and resistance training. You will be led by a Zumba instructor and this class will be beginner to intermediate level. Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear appropriate for your level of activity.

 

Yoga/Pilates

Yoga is a Hindu spiritual and ascetic discipline, a part of which, including breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures, is widely practiced for health and relaxation.  Pilates classes build strength, flexibility and lean muscle tone with an emphasis on lengthening the body and aligning the spine, rather than on bulking and shortening the muscles. You will be led by an instructor and this class will be beginner to intermediate level. You should bring an appropriate mat or towel for this class and wear comfortable clothing and footwear appropriate for your level of activity.
